Handmade Skin Tightening Face Mask...From Eggshells! DIY!!!

I lived in Las Vegas, Nevada a LONG time---about 50 years to be exact.  Now this is not the kind of place most women can live happily for long without a healthy body image, as you can imagine.  In fact, one day I overhead two ladies talking about this while I was in a waiting room.  Inwardly and unhappily, I had to agree.  (In case you didn't know, Las Vegas, Nevada is one of the premier places for plastic surgery due to the shows on the Strip as well as the very healthy sex trade here.  It's a tough place for a "normal" woman, like me!)  I actually used to use all the high end skin care products I could find in an effort to remain...Ahem....Young and Lovely.

Well, I have since learned that you DON"T have to WASTE your money!!!!  Here is a recipe for an awesome skin tightening mask that is simple, super inexpensive (with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen), and doesn't take a long time either.

A Note About the Ingredients:

Calcium Powder:

Provides a nice bit of exfoliation, plus minerals for your skin

Egg White:

This provides the skin tightening effect---and MAN!  It tightens!

French Pink or Green Clay:

Wonderful for detoxifying the skin and pulling out impurities. Clays can be a bit drying for some people, so if you have oily skin, you're golden!  My skin is on the dry side, and I can honestly say I didn't have any negative effects.

  1. Mix up the three ingredients into a paste.  It will be a very liquid paste.
